The Challenge
Service Foods is one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned and operated food service distribution businesses, with over 800 employees, a fleet of 220 trucks, 15 branches and a catalog of 14,000+ products sourced locally and from over 20 countries.
To support its fast-growing operations and digital-first strategy, Service Foods needed to modernize its fragmented integration landscape. Legacy tools like MuleSoft, Bedrock, and Salesforce led to high maintenance overheads, limited visibility, and lack of standardization.
The company needed a centralized, scalable, and future-ready integration platform to simplify its ecosystem, improve agility, and support continued growth across all branches and systems.
The Solution
4i was selected as the strategic Oracle integration partner for Service Foods’ digital transformation, executing a phased migration to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as a centralized platform for streamlined and secure integration.
An Oracle APEX-based iTrack Dashboard was developed for real-time integration monitoring and issue tracking, Azure DevOps was implemented as a centralized workspace for logging, collaboration and project transparency, and standardized integration patterns were established for reusability and scalability.
