The Challenge
Omran, a leading player in the Omani tourism industry, embarked on a transformative journey to unify and streamline operations across its diverse portfolio of subsidiaries and entities.
Omran faced the complex task of managing operations across 16 entities and 30 staff hotels, each using disparate systems. The challenge was to migrate and integrate these entities into a single, cohesive platform that could support over 1,000 employees and approximately 2,000 users.
All of this had to happen while maintaining operational continuity and data integrity across every entity.
The Solution
Omran’s transition to Oracle Cloud encompassed key modules in Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), with customized Subcontract Solutions, E-Tendering and an ICV (CRM) to meet Omran’s specific business needs.
The project featured 11 critical integrations, including automated connections with 5 major banks, SharePoint, financial systems and MIS reporting tools. A 10-day training program empowered Omran’s team to leverage the full capabilities of the new system.
