The Challenge
A major civilian airport in the APAC region, serving around 60+ million passengers with 100+ airlines flying to 100+ countries and territories worldwide, is constructing a new terminal on a 1,080-hectare site as part of its expansion.
Since the project involves day-to-day cost information and contract management, the client was looking for a centralized enterprise system to allocate funds, estimate cost, approve budgets, and manage commitments and payments, with up-to-date and accurate cost reports for multiple stakeholders.
Stakeholders needed full visibility on budget health and cash flows for the new terminal construction.
The Solution
As an Oracle Cloud Excellence Implementer of project management solutions, 4i conducted workshops to identify the client’s business challenges by analyzing its current cost management system, then implemented Oracle Primavera Unifier Project Controls Cloud, a complete project lifecycle management solution.
Unifier was integrated with the client’s existing SAP system using SOA technology through 10+ inbound interfaces, with real-time synchronization of budget and contracts data. 4i also developed 30+ reports for CXO-level and super users to visualize data and take action on time.
