The Challenge
National Ambulance operates the 998 emergency response service across the Northern Emirates, with over 700 employees and a fleet of over 110 emergency vehicles. It ran on a legacy Oracle environment (Tahaluf/Fazaa Group instance), where disparate and manual systems hindered payroll accuracy, billing efficiency, financial reporting, and procurement cycles.
HR administrative tasks and recruitment were inefficient and time-consuming. Manual syncing between Kronos and payroll systems resulted in errors and delays, Excel-based reconciliations delayed financial closures, and procurement lacked transparency and tracking, slowing down onboarding and cycle times.
Lack of historical data structure and unstructured workflows reduced decision-making speed.
The Solution
4i implemented a standalone Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP covering Finance, Projects, HCM and SCM: Financials (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets), SCM (Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification, Inventory Management) and HCM (Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Journeys and UAE Payroll).
The platform integrates with the Oracle Time & Attendance system and with Operations IQ, National Ambulance’s internal emergency medical services and supply chain system. 4i also conducted detailed gap-fit analysis and hands-on workshops to address workflow and data readiness issues, accelerating user adoption and time-to-value.
