The Challenge
The client is Nigeria’s leading indigenous, integrated energy company, with operations in upstream, midstream and downstream activities in Africa, a production capacity of 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and over 300 service stations in Nigeria.
The client was planning to migrate its Oracle ERP system from on-premises to cloud for its 80+ legal entities spread across 8 countries globally.
Moving 80+ legal entities off on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite meant mapping every existing business process to Oracle Fusion.
The Solution
With experience in similar Oracle EBS to Fusion engagements, 4i conducted a detailed system assessment and mapped the client’s existing EBS business processes to Oracle Fusion applications.
The client went live on Oracle Fusion Financials, EPM (Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Close), SCM, CX and HCM. On the PaaS side, a historical database of around 2TB was migrated from on-premise to Oracle Database Cloud Service using the transportable tablespace option, including a cross-platform migration.
